Mid America Health in Orient, OH is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team. The role includes 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 6:30am–3:00pm) at the Correctional Reception Center with full benefits. Compensation is $19 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

The position balances administrative duties with chairside care in a low-stress setting. No evenings or weekends required. We offer medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401k, generous PTO and holidays, flex spending, and an HSA.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience strongly preferred and a certificate from an accredited dental assisting program.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license required.

Responsibilities

• Duties include administrative and routine chairside tasks: preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• Limited endodontic work; no orthodontics or crown&bridge.
• Emphasis on administrative duties; training provided in administrative areas.
