Mid America Health is seeking a Dental Assistant for our Ohio team. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm at the Trumbull Correctional Institution in Leavittsburg, OH. Compensation is $19 per hour with a $1000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, and HSA.

No late nights or weekends; a rewarding position helping an underserved population with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in dental assisting is preferred.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license is required.
• Certificate from an accredited dental assisting program is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform administrative and routine chairside duties including preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• Limited endodontic work; no orthodontics or crown & bridge.
• Primary focus on administrative duties; training provided.

Formation

CPR for Healthcare Providers

Ohio Dental Radiographer license

Certificate from accredited dental assisting program

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a dental assistant to join our Ohio team. This full- time opportunity is scheduled to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, from 6:30am until 3:00pm) at the Trumball Correctional Institution in Leavittsburg, OH. This dental assistant position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry and offers full benefits which include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account. NO late nights or weekends are required for this position! Compensation is competitive at $19 plus per hour. There is also currently a $1000 sign- on bonus available for this position.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Duties:

This position will include both administrative and routine chairside duties that include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. Very limited endo, with NO ortho or crown & bridge required. This position will have more focus on administrative duties. Administrative duties are required for this position, and you will be trained in this area.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Qualifications:

1 year experience is strongly preferred and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers and Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license required.
