Qualifications

• Delaware Assistant Certification required.
• Delaware Radiological Technician certification required.
• Three to five years experience with a general dentist preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares operatory and sets up instruments and materials.
• Assists dentist using 4-handed dentistry and passes instruments.
• Takes intra-oral and extra-oral x-rays with proper safety techniques.
• Scans x-ray films into patient EMR with correct resolution and contrast.
• Disinfects instruments and maintains operatories; weekly cleaning.
• Documents dental history and procedures in Dentrix and follows up on results.
• Assists with patient triage and front-desk duties as needed.
