Job summary

Dream Dental in Goodlettsville, TN seeks a Dental Assistant for a full-time 4-day work week. You will prepare rooms, assist with treatments, take X-rays, and help manage patient records using Open Dental. The role emphasizes patient care, sterilization, and supporting a modern, fast-paced practice.

The candidate should have X-ray certification, CPR training, and prior dental assisting experience or training. Schedule includes a rotating 32-hour week with Saturday availability and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training in the dental field.
• Valid X-ray certificate is required.
• Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA per state requirements.
• CPR & first aid certificate is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures.
• Assist doctors during a variety of dental treatments.
• Take diagnostic X-rays and assist with charting and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental.
• Sterilize and deliver instruments according to OSHA standards.
• Maintain and operate dental equipment.
• Monitor and maintain dental supply inventory.
• Keep operatories clean and prepared for procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team.
• Help create an exceptional patient experience from check-in to completion of treatment.

Education
