Job summary

Nokomis Dental Care, a Heartland Dental Supported Practice, is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our 15-member team in Nokomis, FL. You will work with state-of-the-art technology in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on patient-first care.

The position offers a 4-day work week (Mon-Thu, 7:30am-5:30pm), no nights or weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package with opportunities for growth through Heartland Dental University and CE classes.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• State issued Dental Assistant Permit and X-Ray Credentials required.
• New Dental Assistant grads welcome to apply.
• Willing to train for the role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
