Job summary

Otteson Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Chandler, AZ, seeks an Experienced Dental Assistant to join a high-tech practice. You will welcome patients, assist the doctor, and ensure efficient back-office operations in a modern setting.

Candidates should have 3-4 years of dental assisting experience, proficiency with general and cosmetic procedures, and relevant state certifications. A 4-day work week with no weekends is offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

3-4 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Experience assisting with general & cosmetic procedures.
High school diploma or GED.
State certifications such as Radiology, CPR, RDA/RDAEF are required or as defined by the state.
Experience with Denticon software is a plus (training provided).

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and seat them in the treatment room.
Assist the doctor in delivering care to patients.
Stay informed about current technologies and clinical initiatives relevant to the back-office.
Monitor lab materials and supplies.
Build rapport with patients and maintain OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.
Take, expose, and mount dental radiographs.
Contribute to team goals and maintain a safe environment.
