Position Responsibilities

As a key member of our clinical team, you will assist our dentists with a variety of general dental procedures and contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow. Your daily tasks will include:

• Chairside assisting with general dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery
• Setting up and breaking down operatories, sterilizing instruments
• Taking and processing digital X-rays using Dexis & iCAT
• Accurately charting and updating patient records in Dentrix
• Educating patients before, during, and after treatment
• Ensuring patient comfort and a positive experience throughout their visit
• Maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred
• Proficiency in Dentrix practice management software and Dexis imaging
• Familiarity with assisting in a broad range of procedures, including ortho and oral surgery
• Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
• Experience with ZOOM whitening treatments (willing to train)
• Use of diode laser for soft tissue procedures (willing to train)
