Our dental practice specializes in pediatric dentistry. We strive to create a fun and engaging work environment that delivers high-quality dental care to our patients. You must have a pleasant, engaging, and teachable spirit and love working with children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. Applicants with previous experience as a dental assistant or pediatric dental assistant are preferred.

As a dental assistant, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Obtaining a thorough medical history for our patients from their parents (s)/guardians (s)
- Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Performing dental prophylaxis (cleanings)
- Assisting our pediatric dentist(s) during a variety of treatment procedures
- Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- Providing post-operative instructions to patients/parents following placement of a restoration (filling), surgery, or other dental treatment procedures
- Teaching patients/parents appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., toothbrushing, flossing, and dietary/nutritional counseling)
- Performing office management tasks that often require the use of a computer (PC/Mac)
preparing and sterilizing instruments/equipment
- Setting up/taking down instruments for each procedure
- Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling, answering the telephone, billing, and ordering/stocking supplies)
- Helping provide direct patient care within the specialty of pediatric dentistry
- Must be familiar with OSHA guidelines (infection control) and HIPAA guidelines
- Must be punctual, reliable, a team player, and ready to work
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule Monday- Friday full day 8:30 am- 5:00 pm
