The State of South Carolina's Department of Corrections is seeking a dental assistant to support inmate dental care. Under supervision, you will prepare patients, assist dentists chairside, expose and mount X-rays, sterilize instruments, and maintain dental records.
You may travel to statewide clinics as needed. Qualifications include an associate degree in dental assistance or ADA-certified training; other options include a high school diploma with relevant coursework and CDA/DANB credentials.
