Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with examinations, treatment, and procedures.
• Prepare and break down operatories.
• Take X-rays and digital impressions/scans as permitted by state regulations.
• Assist with restorative procedures, crowns, bridges, fillings, extractions, and other procedures.
• Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Prepare patients and provide a comfortable, positive experience.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Organize instruments, supplies, and equipment and monitor inventory.
• Provide postoperative instructions as directed.
• Assist with patient education and other clinical duties as needed.

Baird & Baird Family Dentistry is looking for a friendly, professional, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team! We are a patient-focused practice dedicated to providing excellent dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Location: 4595 Towne Lake Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30189
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
Lunch: 1:00–2:00 PM
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Qualifications

• 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred
• Professional, friendly, and compassionate
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office
• Able to multitask while maintaining excellent patient care and safety
