General Overview

Are you an entry-level Dental Assistant/Sterilization Tech looking for a privately owned practice where you can help patients every day? Do you love creating a smooth environment that puts the patient first? If so, we would LOVE to talk to you!

Schedule:

We work 4 days per week, with NO WEEKENDS!

  • Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
  • Friday Off

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Welcoming patients and getting them situated in the appropriate treatment room
  • Assisting the doctor in providing care to the patient
  • Staying knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience
  • Monitoring lab materials and supplies
  • Developing a relationship with the patient
  • Following all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines
  • Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment rooms as needed
  • Taking, exposing, and mounting high-quality dental radiographs
  • Contributing to the team in achieving business objectives
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

  • Attended a Dental Assistant program or have 6 months of experience in a dental office
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Other certifications as required by the state (e.g., Radiology Certification, CPR, RDA, RDAEF)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar is preferred
