Job summary

Wheat Ridge Dentists in Wheat Ridge, CO is looking for a Dental Assistant who can grow with our team. You will support the dentist, help create the Perfect Patient Experience, and work with modern dental technology to deliver efficient care.

You will assist with procedures, maintain a clean, sterile environment, take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. This is an hourly, full-time opportunity with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist; complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with American Dental Association guidelines and regulatory standards.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience®. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
