Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the dental clinic environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Take and develop medical imaging as needed for patient diagnosis.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Manage dental instruments and materials, ensuring they are sterilized and organized.
Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in dental assisting with a solid understanding of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with endodontics and the ability to assist during related procedures.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Experience with medical imaging systems for diagnostic purposes.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
Capability to work collaboratively in a dental clinic setting while managing multiple tasks.
Office Hours:

Monday to Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
Thursday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Expected Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week
Pay Rate:

Starting at $24.00 per hour
