Join our dynamic and thriving dental practice as a Dental Assistant! At Great Expressions Dental Centers, we're seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and positively impact our patients' oral health. This position involves regular travel to the following office locations, based on a set schedule:

• Pinellas Park: 5002 73rd Ave N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781
• Land O' Lakes: 2091 Collier Pkwy, Land O' Lakes, FL 34639
• Belleair Bluffs: 2938 W Bay Dr C, Belleair Bluffs, FL 33770

Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus

Requirements

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, EFDA certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification, and annual CE requirements per state regulations.
• Michigan: Evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring; if not available, an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit).
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE certification.
