Job summary

Jorge Alvarez DDS in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a supportive, team-focused practice. You will assist chairside, prepare treatment rooms and instruments, and help with a range of procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of dental assisting experience, a DA certification or associate degree, and excellent communication with patients.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of continuous dental assisting experience.
• Dental Assistant certification or an associate degree in Dental Assisting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist chairside.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and prepare treatment trays.
• Assist with fillings, cleanings, root canals, extractions, crowns and bridges, dental implants, and other procedures.
• Obtain and document patient medical and dental histories.
• Support the dentist and clinical team in providing efficient, high-quality care.
