We are seeking an Dental Assistant to join our team at Bright Now! Dental in Stafford, VA. In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. You’ll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed. This is your chance to bring your clinical skills, upbeat energy, and patient-first mindset to a team that supports and celebrates you.

Schedule (days/hours)

Mon-Wed 7am-5pm, Thurs 9am-6pm, Fri 7am-4pm & 1 Sat a month 7am-2pm

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging, including digital X-Rays and CBCT scans (if applicable).
• Create a positive, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance
• Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized and maintained in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Accurately update patient records, chart treatment progress, and document any necessary notes during and after procedures.
• Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Work in close collaboration with providers and administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations, optimal patient care, and seamless appointment scheduling.
  
  

Qualifications

• X-Ray Certification
• CPR or BLS required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a general Dental Assistant
• Ortho experience is a plus
  
  

Compensation

$18 - $21/hr
