Role Purpose
Responsible for performing dental procedures under dentist's direct supervision, in accordance with state laws. Have direct patient care responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assists dentists in providing direct chair side dental care of the patient.
- Accurately documents all pertinent dental information in the patient chart/record
- Ensures patient information is current in their chart/record.
- Ensures patient care supplies and equipment are kept up to par level and maintained in working order.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate dental care referrals as needed
