Job summary

South Riding Smiles is seeking a Dental Assistant in Virginia to support dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort. The ideal candidate has empathy, patience, and strong communication skills, with a professional, self-motivated work ethic.

Responsibilities include room prep, sterilization, X-ray processing, and basic administrative tasks. The position offers guaranteed hourly pay in the range of $25–$27 plus a bonus, with benefits including health, dental, and vision, as well as PTO

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with coworkers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for dentists.
• Take and process patient X-rays.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist with payment procedures and basic administrative duties.
