Job summary

Clinical West Jordan is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to support the dentist with chairside procedures, patient care, and room preparation in a busy West Jordan clinic. You will help ensure comfort, sterility, and a positive patient experience throughout visits.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, handing instruments, updating patient records, assisting with billing as needed, and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• CDA or RDA certification preferred.
• X-ray certification (required or preferred depending on state).
• Knowledge of patient management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and team-oriented.

• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Organize and maintain dental supplies and instruments
• Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments
• Schedule appointments and confirm visits
• Assist with billing, insurance processing, or charting
