Compensation

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental equipment, instruments, anesthetics, supplies, and materials for examinations and procedures.
• Ensure infection control policies are followed by disinfecting and sterilizing equipment after use.
• Measure and document vital signs and update patient medical histories.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures by handing instruments, providing suction, and maintaining chair-side accessibility.
• Answer patient questions about dental hygiene, schedule follow-up appointments, and provide postoperative instructions, including infection control methods.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification or RDA license from DANB.
• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience as a registered or certified dental assistant.
• Proficiency with dental software and updating patient records.
• Associate’s Degree or certification from an accredited college or technical program.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
