Job summary

Heartland Endodontics in Sebring, FL is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our endodontic team. This full-time role offers a 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with competitive pay and benefits including health and life insurance and a 401k match.

You will assist the doctor, take radiographs, maintain patient flow, prepare treatment rooms, and manage supplies. Florida certification is required; 1+ year experience preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant & Radiology Certification in FL.
• 1+ year of Dental Assisting Experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner.
• Assist the doctor with all dental procedures.
• Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment.
• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; be present, engaged, and prepared.
• Clean and set up treatment rooms.
• Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment.
• Order and organize dental supplies.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant & Radiology Certification in the state of FL
• 1 or more year(s) of Dental Assisting Experience is required
