Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant who loves building relationships with patients and collaborating with the team. You will provide patient care, educate patients on oral-systemic links, and support the doctor and hygienists with chair-side procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Radiography certification required.
  • Dental Assistant certification required.
  • CPR-BLS certification preferred.
  • Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care and educate patients on oral-systemic links.
  • Assist doctor and hygienists chair-side.
  • Review patient charts before arrival; document health history.
  • Ensure consent forms are completed prior to procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain operatory; sterilize equipment.
  • Track lab cases and monitor dental supplies.
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality; follow OSHA and BBP safety policies.
  • Assist administrative team with scheduling.
