Job summary

Enable Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our mobile clinical team in San Diego. You will support dentists and hygienists, capture high-quality dental X-rays, assist with cleanings, and uphold safety and record-keeping standards across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, active certification, and an ability to drive to various sites. The role offers an hourly pay range of $30–$33 and a benefits package, including medical and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active State Dental Assistant Certification required.
• At least one year of dental experience preferred.
• Must be 25+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Warmly prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort.
• Capture high-quality dental X-rays using digital imaging.
• Assist in cleanings and preventive treatments to maintain oral health.
• Maintain rigorous safety standards and precise records.
• Transport and set up mobile equipment at new locations.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

As a Dental Assistant, you are the heart of our mobile clinical team. Working side-by-side with our Dentists and Hygienists, you'll provide life-changing care in a dynamic environment. Your day will be filled with variety and purpose as you:

• Be the Friendly Face – Warmly prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and valued.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education, Training & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Active State Level Dental Assistant Certification
• At least one year of experience working in a dental setting (preferred)
• Must be over 25 years old, with a State Driver's License and clean driving record
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make patients feel comfortable
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Requirements:

• Willing & able to lift and transport dental equipment & supplies
• Must be comfortable driving a minivan for mobile visits
