James Brown DDS in San Antonio, TX is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists in delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active TX dental assistant license with 2+ years of clinical experience, and have completed accredited dental assisting training. Office offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active TX dental assistant license is required.
• Dental Assistant training or school certification required.
• 2+ years of dental assisting clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside.
• Welcomes patients and briefs them for treatments.
• Prepare patients for treatments and ensure comfort.
• Set up instrumentation, equipment and materials as needed.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Perform lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide post-operative care instructions.
• Keep operatories clean and stocked.

Are you energetic, organized, and passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences? We're looking for a Dental Assistant who loves helping patients feel comfortable while working directly with our hygienists, helping them execute an accelerated schedule.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm

Friday 7:45 am - 1:00 pm

• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories
