Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support advanced dental implant procedures and provide exceptional patient care. The role involves sterilization, chair-side assistance, radiography, and collaboration with prosthodontists and staff.

You will work Monday–Friday in a full-time capacity with opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth within ClearChoice University.

Qualifications

• Valid state dental assistant certification.
• 2+ years of dental assisting experience.
• Experience with implants or prosthodontics preferred.
• Strong hand skills and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist prosthodontist during implant procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control.
• Chair-side assistance and patient comfort.
• Take radiographs and process images.
• Support lab coordination and recordkeeping.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.

Job Type: Full‑time

Salary: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair‑side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Take dental x‑rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post‑operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Skills And Experience We’re Looking For

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
