Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support implant procedures and provide exceptional patient care. You will work closely with a Prosthodontist, prepare instruments, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean, organized treatment area throughout the day.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in dental assisting, familiarity with implants or prosthodontics, and strong communication skills to educate patients and coordinate with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a dental assisting role.
• Experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Prosthodontist in advanced implant procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments adhering to infection control standards.
• Provide chair-side support and keep the treatment area organized.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
• Assist with radiographic imaging and impressions preparation.
• Help with inventory management and lab coordination.

Salary: $28 - $32 per hour (based on experience and certification)

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
