Rochester Dental Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. You will support the dentist across procedures, prepare operatory, take dental radiographs, and help maintain infection control so every patient feels comfortable and safe.

We value patient education and clear follow-up instructions, and you will guide patients on oral hygiene while contributing to a collaborative, quality-focused practice that supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a dental assistant certificate per state regulation.
• Must have X-ray certification per state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.

Compensation: $28-32/hr

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
