Part-Time Dental Assistant – Flexible, Patient-Friendly Hours

Our modern dental practice in Riverton is seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our team. We offer a patient-friendly schedule with shifts on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Fridays, and one Saturday per month.

Prior dental assisting experience is preferred. Our newly renovated office features cutting-edge technology, including AI-integrated systems, 3D printing, Invisalign, and dental implants. We emphasize prevention-focused care and a personalized, high-tech patient experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures, including restorative, implant, and Invisalign treatments

Prepare and maintain operatories for patient care

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA standards

Take digital x-rays and intraoral scans (iTero experience a plus)

Document clinical notes accurately in our digital charting system

Support lab case tracking, 3D printing workflows, and post-processing

Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment follow-ups

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Contribute to a positive patient experience through professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

Prior dental assisting experience preferred

Utah radiology certification

Familiarity with digital dentistry, including x-rays and intraoral scanning

Comfortable assisting with a range of procedures including implants and Invisalign

Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including AI tools and 3D printing

Current CPR certification

Availability during patient-friendly hours: Wed/Thurs evenings, Fridays, and one Saturday per month
