Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is looking for a proactive Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team and support our patients’ oral health in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist the dental team, prep treatment rooms, maintain sterilization and patient records, and help educate patients on oral hygiene. Prior experience is preferred but training is available, and a supportive team environment helps you grow in your dental career.

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but training is available.

Requirements

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
