Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced practice and support our experienced clinical team in delivering quality patient care.

You will prep treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, educate patients on oral health, assist dentists during procedures, and help manage appointments and records, all while complying with state X-ray certification requirements.

Requirements

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
