Job summary

North Shore Endodontics is a dedicated endodontics practice in Peabody, MA seeking a full-time Dental Assistant. You will assist the doctor, take radiographs, and maintain smooth patient flow with precise charting. We value compassionate care and professional teamwork.

The role requires active MA radiology certification and at least one year of experience, with Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. We offer competitive benefits, including health and dental insurance and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

  • Active Dental Assistant & Radiology Certification in MA.
  • 1+ year of Dental Assisting Experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service for patients and demonstrate chairside manners.
  • Assist the doctor with dental procedures.
  • Take radiographs using standard digital equipment.
  • Maintain doctor schedule and patient flow with accurate data entry.
  • Clean and set up treatment rooms and organize supplies.
  • Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival and document data.
  • Order and organize dental supplies.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner
  • Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
  • Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment
  • Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors\' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, and prepared
  • Clean and set up treatment rooms
  • Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment
  • Order and organize dental supplies

This is a full-time Dental Assistant position with a schedule of : Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM

Dental Assistant Qualifications
  • Active Dental Assistant & Radiology Certification in the state of MA
  • 1 or more year(s) of Dental Assisting Experience is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
