Job summary

Mid America Health is seeking a dental assistant to join our Ohio team at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, OH. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm. The position offers medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, flex spending, and HSA, with no late nights or weekends.

Compensation is $19/hour, plus a $1000 sign-on bonus. There will be a mix of administrative and chairside duties, with emphasis on administrative tasks and training; no ortho or

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience strongly preferred.
• Certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license required.

Responsibilities

• Admin and routine chairside duties including preventive, restorative, extraction and prosthodontic care.
• Very limited endo; no ortho or crown & bridge.
• Focus on administrative duties and training in that area.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a dental assistant to join our Ohio team. This full- time opportunity is scheduled to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, from 6:30am until 3:00pm) at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, OH. This dental assistant position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry and offers full benefits which include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account. NO late nights or weekends are required for this position! Compensation is competitive at $19 plus per hour. There is also currently a $1000 sign- on bonus available for this position.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Duties:
