Job summary

The OU College of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to fill a vacancy in our AEGD Clinic. This position provides chair-side dental assistance to faculty and residents in the AEGD Clinic for dental procedures.

This individual will also fill out and update pertinent patient information in the correct charts/systems. Along with make sure equipment and room are sterilized and ready for patient and faculty/students/residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Oklahoma Dental Assistant Permit or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Hiring contingent upon a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side dental assistance to faculty and residents in the AEGD Clinic.
• Fill out and update pertinent patient information in the correct charts/systems.
• Ensure equipment and room are sterilized and ready for patient and faculty/students/residents.

Job description

Pay Range:Targeted hourly pay up to $18.31, based on experience.
