Must Have Skills :

  • Negative TB test within the last year

Responsibilities and Job Details :

  • Assist dentists with general and specialty procedures in a clinical setting
  • Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a safe, hygienic treatment environment
  • Capture, develop, and evaluate dental x-rays as directed
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene best practices
  • Accurately document and update patient records in CPRS and DRM+ systems
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and VA infection control protocols
  • Manage and maintain adequate dental supplies and equipment readiness
  • Support smooth patient flow and clinical operations within dental services
  • Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure optimal care delivery
  • Maintain professionalism and compassion in service to the veteran population
