Rivertown Dental in Arcadia, WI seeks a Dental Assistant to join a compassionate, growth-minded team. You will support doctors and hygienists, take radiographs and medical histories, and help manage emergencies while ensuring patient comfort throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Dental Assisting Certification preferred.
• 1+ years experience in a dental office preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Take dental radiographs (PA, BW, CBCT & IO images) and digital scans/impressions.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take patient medical histories, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Support doctors during procedures and help manage dental/medical emergencies.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Educate patients on treatment options and oral hygiene.
• Maintain inventory, equipment, and lab case tracking.
• Turn over operatories efficiently between procedures.

What You'll Do

• Take dental radiographs (PA, BW, CBCT & IO images) and digital scans/impressions

Requirements

• Dental Assisting Certification (preferred)
• 1+ years experience in a dental office (preferred)
• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records) and medical terminology
• Proficiency assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Bilingual Dental Assistants, encouraged to apply, and will be compensated at an increased rate.

Physical Requirements:

• Flexibility to travel within Rivertown Dental to other office locations when asked upon

The ideal candidate will have completed Dental Assistant School and have worked in a dental clinic setting, but education is not required - You are still encouraged to apply if you have Dental Assisting experience!
