Job summary

Diamond Braces is hiring a Full-Time Dental Assistant (No License Required) in New York. You’ll support orthodontists and deliver an excellent patient experience in a fast-paced practice.

We offer competitive pay starting at $22.00 per hour, paid training, tuition and loan assistance, ongoing clinical development, and career advancement opportunities in a modern, tech-driven environment. Some evenings and Saturdays may be required, with local travel between nearby offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient treatment.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments; sterilize per standards.
• Take digital X-rays, intraoral scans, photos, and impressions.
• Enter accurate clinical notes into patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.
• Fabricate Essix retainers and assist with basic lab tasks.
• Prepare and track laboratory cases; keep operatories clean.

What You'll Do

As an Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating confident smiles while supporting our orthodontists and providing an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting the orthodontist during patient treatment
• Preparing treatment rooms and orthodontic instruments
• Sterilizing instruments following OSHA and infection control standards
• Taking digital X-rays, intraoral scans, photographs, and impressions
• Entering accurate clinical notes into patient records
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Fabricating Essix retainers and assisting with basic laboratory duties
• Preparing and tracking laboratory cases
• Keeping operatories clean, organized, and patient-ready

Experience Preferred

Experience Preferred:

• At least 6 months of experience in a dental office or healthcare setting
• Orthodontic experience is a plus—but not required
• Experience with digital scanners is a plus

No Dental Assistant license? No problem! If you're motivated and ready to learn, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
