Job summary

Quinnipiac Endodontics, part of Dental Associates of Connecticut, seeks a full-time Dental Assistant in New Britain, CT. You will greet patients, assist doctors, prepare trays, take x-rays, and manage room turnover with a patient-centered approach.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a family-oriented practice. Office hours align with the posted schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as liaison between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays as per daily charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four‑handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates/pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.
• Liaise between patient and doctor.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed

Preferred Qualities:

• Dental Office Experience
• Dentrix Ascend software experience
• X-Ray and ICE Certification
• Endodontics experience
