Fatse Dental Center is looking for a Dental Assistant in Monroe, Connecticut to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team, supporting the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. $20-$24/hr

Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
  • Manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency supplies, and contact information.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or six months of on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
  • X-Ray certification.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
