Job summary

Elite Dental Partners is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to provide chair-side support and patient education in a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled for Mondays and Tuesdays, with opportunities to contribute to patient care during all phases of appointments.

The role requires completion of a dental assisting program and radiology certification, with experience preferred. The team emphasizes teamwork, efficient operatory setup, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent
• Radiology certification required by State Dental Board
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork to create a welcoming environment

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists; charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment
• Take and process X-Rays
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on oral health importance and maintenance

We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment. This position will be scheduled to work on Mondays & Tuesdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment
• Take and process X-Rays
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health and how it is best maintained

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program, certification as required by the State Dental Board
• Radiology certification required to be compliant with the State Dental Board
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
