Contemporary Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant in Canton, Michigan to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Status: Full-Time. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
Qualifications
  • 2 years on-the-job experience in oral surgery, implants, and IV sedation.
  • X-Ray certification preferred.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
