Job Title: Dental Assistant (In Training)

Location: Nasson Health Care, a Division of York County Community Action Corp., Springvale and Biddeford, Maine

Employment Details: Full-time, 52 weeks/year, 40 hours/week

Pay Range

This range is provided by York County Community Action Corporation. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Position Overview

The Dental Assistant works collaboratively with a team of health professionals to provide comprehensive primary care dental services, utilizing the Patient-Centered Medical Home model. The role involves serving as a chair-side assistant to the dentist and dental hygienist, following state regulations and dental practice protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a dental practice preferred.
• Completion of an accredited course in dental assisting.
• Valid Maine radiographic certification.
• Certified dental assistant standing.

We will consider candidates who are willing to complete on-the-job training and provide financial support to obtain a Maine radiographic certification. The successful applicant must complete the certification within six months of hire.
