Artisan Dental in Madison, WI is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our award-winning, technology-forward practice. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, is comfortable chairside, and values efficiency and high-quality patient care in a team setting.

We utilize digital X-rays and charting, CAD/CAM, iTero, Dentrix AI, and CBCT. The role involves assisting during procedures, taking radiographs, sterilization, and some front-office support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience required.
• Dentrix experience is required.
• X-ray certification required (or ability to obtain per state requirements).
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• EFDA certification preferred (if applicable).
• Strong clinical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images.
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant with at least one year of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is comfortable working chairside, values efficiency, and is committed to delivering high‑quality patient care in a team‑oriented environment.

Schedule

Tuesday 7-5 Wednesday 7-5

Key Responsibilities
