Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant at Midwest Dental, you will play a critical role in providing outstanding patient care while assisting our dentists during procedures. Your duties will include patient preparation, assisting with various dental treatments, sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays, and ensuring that our office runs smoothly. If you’re passionate about oral health and want to work in a supportive team environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Schedule (days/hours)

Mon -Thurs, no friday

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including exams, fillings, cleanings, and extractions.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging materials, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Take accurate dental x-rays and assist in diagnostic procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Keep patient records updated and maintain confidentiality.
• Ensure the smooth flow of patients and appointments.
• Maintain infection control and adhere to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure comfort during treatments.

• X-ray certification not required but preferred.

Compensation

18 - 25 per hour
