Just for Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics in the Southwest Las Vegas area is seeking a qualified and caring Dental Assistant to join our team. You will provide top-notch dental care to children and support the dentist during procedures.

The ideal candidate loves kids, is passionate about dentistry, has at least 2 years of dental assisting experience, and is available to work on weekends. Strong computer skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.
• 2 years of dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Schedule appointments
