Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in a full-time role in Maryland. You will assist during a range of procedures, take dental X-rays, set up and breakdown operatories, and support patient flow and charting across the practice.

The position emphasizes infection control, patient education, and collaboration within the dental team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. A high school diploma and active state credentials are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.

Salary: $23 - $28 / hour

Sign on Bonus: $2,500
