Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinical teams and patients in a fast-paced practice. You will learn through our best-in-class training, perform X-rays, tray setup, patient handoffs, and infection control, while helping maintain patient comfort and satisfaction.

We offer Full Time employment, $35-$40 per hour, a $1500 sign-on bonus, and a benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, plus ongoing CE through TAG U.

Qualifications

• Active license or permit and x-ray certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns; impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans and support patient charting.

As a Dental Assistant, you will help support the clinical needs of the practice's patients and doctors. You will have the support and training you need to maximize your career potential and help make a difference in your community one smile at a time.

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures

• Support patient charting for doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds

• Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required
