Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our KY team. This position involves working 40 hours per week in LaGrange, KY, with schedules either from Tuesday to Friday, 6 am to 4 pm, or Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2 pm. The role includes working across two facilities, Luther Luckett Correctional Complex and Roederer Correctional Complex. It offers a rewarding, low-stress alternative to private practice dentistry, with benefits including health insurance, optional dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and holidays. No late nights or weekends are required. The compensation is $18 per hour.

Responsibilities include routine chairside duties such as preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care (excluding ortho, crown & bridge, or endo), along with administrative duties.
