Job summary

North American Dental (NADG) invites qualified Dental Assistants to join a patient-first practice environment. You will support clinical staff, prepare patients for treatment, and assist dentists during restorative procedures while maintaining stringent OSHA and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

  • Dental Assisting Certification or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • 1–5 years of experience preferred; new grads considered.
  • Radiography/X-ray certification for the respective state.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent chair-side clinical support and assist the Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
  • Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under doctor’s direction, ensure forms are signed in dental software.
  • Review daily schedule to set up trays/instruments.
  • Prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, set up trays, maintain asepsis, assist dentists during procedures per OSHA.
  • Expose and develop dental radiographs as needed.
  • Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and maintain required certifications.

Full Time Hours:

Monday through Friday 7:30am-5:15pm

Part Time Hours:

Friday 7:30am-5:15pm

Saturday 7:30am-12:15pm

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Dental Assistant will help prepare the patient for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry.

Skills Required to Make a Great "Impression" on Our Team
  • Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
  • Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Qualifications

  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
