Job summary

Adventure Dental & Vision in Kansas City, KS, is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in delivering compassionate care to all patients.

Pay range is $15-$20 per hour with full-time hours, and opportunities for monthly bonuses, PTO, holidays, and career growth within the region.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with patients and families required.
• Radiology training meeting state requirements is mandatory.
• CPR certification current and valid.
• Previous dental office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document patient records clearly and concisely.
• Obtain dental radiographs as requested by the dentist.
• Write accurate notes and ensure chart consistency with services.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health and prevention.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant work areas.
• Keep the practice clean and presentable for patients.
• Support mission with other duties as needed.

Adventure Dental & VisioninKansas City, KS, iscurrently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.

Pay range: $15-$20/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records
• Obtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentist
• Write accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completed
• Create a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral health
• Organize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standards
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
