Dental Assistant

Oak Hills Family Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

• Join a 10-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community.
• Energetic, hard-working atmosphere with a strong team focus.
• Full-time; Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 8:00-5:00; Tuesday 8:00-4:00; Friday 8:00-3:00; No weekends.
• Schedule/hours subject to change with the addition of a new doctor. Flexibility required.
• Competitive pay based on experience and certifications.
• Location: 10201 N Oak Trafficway, Ste 300, Kansas City, Missouri 64155.

Experience

• 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant strongly preferred; training available for those without dental background.
• Dentrix or other dental software experience preferred.
• Dental assisting school certification preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Must be a self-starter, goal-oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
• Patient-focused mindset and energetic demeanor.
• If required by state law, dental assistant and x-ray certifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI necessary; regular HIPAA training required; must protect PHI and maintain data security.
